Queensrÿche guitarist Chris DeGarmo told RIP magazine in October 1991: "The song was about this gifted child who could see everything and knew what was coming, and it wasn't a very good picture. A warning was being issued. But you have to remember that there was some real good pot up in Seattle. I feel so serious as I'm talking about all this stuff, but we were in a serious haze. I think the only way people understood it is that they were probably stoned too."
